About Us

  • Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) primarily addresses problems with swallowing, voice, cognition (thinking skills) and speech. Our therapists work with people who have had strokes, neurological disorders, dementia, head injuries (including concussions) and other conditions. Speech and cognitive evaluations are provided to assess the patient’s condition and determine the best course of treatment. The speech therapists help patients and their family members better understand the situation at-hand, and educate them about how they can more effectively communicate with their loved ones.
