S3 comes from the military term S-3 Operations. Those selected to support the Operations have a direct impact on those who support the military's mission. This varied from operational planning & control, to flight scheduling and combat training, to threat and vulnerability assessments and audits. In the Marine Corps, and more specifically, in aviation, this shop was staffed with those who were Aviation Operations Specialists (7041s). Our founder spent a decade in various capacities, supporting the warfighter, and serving all over the world.
