Dr. Rosa Langella earned her medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta. She completed her general surgery internship and residency, as well as her breast surgical training, at Northwestern University in Chicago, Ill. Prior to joining Piedmont Physicians, Dr. Langella was in private practice specializing in the diagnosis and surgical treatment of breast cancer. She has special interests in breast cancer genetics, the latest prevention strategies, and oncoplastic breast reconstruction. She has received numerous academic and community awards for her skill and empathy as a surgeon. Most notably, she is the founder of the North Georgia Breast Center which has served the north Georgia, Tennessee, and North Carolina communities. Dr. Langella is committed to providing compassionate, state-of-the-art breast cancer care to all of her patients. Dr. Langella is board certified by the American Board of Surgery. She is a Fellow with the American College of Surgeons and is a member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons. Dr. Langella welcomes new patients and accepts most insurance plans.
