Dr. Benak specializes in a wide range of surgical procedures including the latest minimally invasive techniques. He is dedicated to the evaluation and treatment of disorders of the abdomen, breast, thyroid gland, skin, vascular system and more. Dr. Benak grew up in Marietta, Georgia, and opened his medical practice in 2000. He lives in Walton County with his wife and two children, and he is active with the Boy Scouts of America. Dedicated to his profession, Dr. Benak has served as Chief of Staff, Chief of Surgery, Medical Director of Trauma Services, and member of the Medical Executive Committee. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
