• About Us Founded in 1990, The Smith Evans & Olson is committed to addressing client concerns with effective and often untraditional solutions. Our clients, as diverse as they are, all have one common trait: they need serious and sound legal representation, whether they are physically injured or in the midst of a business dispute. The firm is composed of outstanding trial attorneys with decades of trial experience. Firm founder Allison Smith is Board Certified by the Iowa Board of Legal Specialization, as is attorney Clark Evans. And, because so many cases are ultimately won or lost on appeal, James Olson is Board Certified in Civil Appellate Law by the Iowa Board of Legal Specialization.
