• About Us The Law Offices of J. Patrick Carey is a boutique firm specializing in all forms of criminal defense cases, from misdemeanors to felonies. Attorney Pat Carey is a State Bar Board Certified Criminal Specialist, putting him in an elite group of less than 1% of lawyers in California. For over a decade as a Senior Prosecutor for the LA District Attorney's Office, Pat Carey assembled extensive courtroom experience, conducting over 50 criminal jury trials in cases ranging from DUIs, Domestic Violence, to special circumstance murder. Since 2015, Attorney Pat Carey has leveraged his experience and connections as a DA to put forth the best possible defense for his clients, working cases anywhere in Los Angeles, Long Beach, and Orange County.
