About Us

• Dr. Shaver is a third-generation board-certified ophthalmologist and third-generation graduate of the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. Dr. Shaver specializes in premium implant cataract surgery, glaucoma, dry eye disease, corneal disease, macular degeneration, and diabetic eye disease. Dr. Shaver has performed over 15,000 surgical procedures since opening his practice in 1992. Dr. Shaver opened his own surgery center in 2012 and still operates at this physician-owned surgery center, which is in the same building as his clinic. He has participated in Mission Cataract USA, which offers free cataract surgery to low income individuals who have gone blind from cataracts. His passion is restoring vision. He lives in Luther with his wife, and they have 10 children combined. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, hunting, golfing, and spending time with his family.
