• Jing Lisanby joined First Command as a Financial Advisor in October 2015. She holds Series 7 and 66 securities licenses as well as state life and health insurance licenses in Colorado, Florida, Ohio, Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas, Maryland, Virginia, District of Columbia and Alabama. After graduating from Tianjin Normal University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and a minor in English, Jing came to the United States to advance her education. She first obtained a Master of Science degree in Microbiology from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, followed by a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Microbiology from the University of Alabama Birmingham. Jing became a military spouse in 2010 and has been stationed at Wright-Patterson AFB, Melbourne, Australia, the Air Force Academy, Buckley AFB, Keesler AFB and Fort Detrick. As a First Command Financial Advisor, Jing advocates time-tested financial principles to coach military and government employees as well as their families in their pursuit of financial security. In her free time, Jing enjoys being a certified Les Mills trainer at her local gym, running, working out with her friends and spending time with her family. First Command Financial Services was founded in 1958 by a retired Air Force officer for the specific purpose of improving the financial well-being of military professionals and their families. Today, more than 500 First Command Financial Advisors across the country and abroad, many of whom also served, are committed to the company’s Mission of “Coaching those who serve in their pursuit of financial security.”
