Christie is a nurse practitioner in the Showers Family Center for Childhood Cancer and Blood Disorders at Akron Children’s Hospital. She’s been a practicing since 2008 and with Akron Children’s since 2018. Christie earned her bachelor’s degree from Kent State University in Kent, Ohio and her master’s degree from The University of Akron in Akron, Ohio.
