About Us

  • We are a small, family run storage business. We really look at storage from the customers’ perspective and a few things set us apart from the “big guys”: We don’t “jack up” your rent every few months – like they do. They’ll give you a really low price for the first month as BAIT. Then, once your stuff is in the unit, they’ve “got you.” They will raise your rent every few months. We guarantee that your price will not increase for at least 12 months. You may be convinced that you only need storage for one month, but you probably need it for 3 months or more. We give you access 24/7. The “big guys” don’t. We think that you should be able to come and go on your schedule. We let you use our dumpsters FOR FREE, they don’t. Just be considerate of others and don’t put too much in there. We have a port-a-potty on site. Other places don’t. If ya need to go, ya need to go. We have thought of that too. We don’t force you to buy insurance – they do. We have it available, if YOU want it. We GIVE you a lock for free that you can reuse. Most of the other guys force you to buy a lock that only works on their door. The backstory – why a storage business? When John, the owner, was in 7th grade, he got injured on a baseball field. That led to his first business. He got a blister that got infected by contaminated water on the baseball field, and he developed the bone disease “Osteomyelitis.” It was so severe that in 5 days, he went from a healthy kid to almost having his left leg amputated. He had surgery to remove the diseased bone, and while in the hospital, he got inspired to start a business to make ball fields safer, so other kids wouldn’t have to go through what he did. So, he started that business even before he could drive a car. After years of hard work, he grew the business to build/renovate/maintain ball fields in 5 states – it was his mission. In 1994, his first baby was born, Katherine. But, he had to spend several weeks in Nashville building a soccer field for their professional team. While in the hotel at night, John kept wondering what he could do to “stay home.” He remembered that he operated his first business out of a storage business while in college – so that’s where the idea came from.
