Alexander Augustyn, MD, PhD, completed his medical degree and PhD at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. He completed his radiation oncology residency at University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. Dr. Augustyn is a member of the American Society for Radiation Oncology, American Association for Cancer Research, American Society of Clinical Oncology, and Radiological Society of North America, and is a reviewer for PLoS One, Advances in Radiation Oncology and Cureus. Dr. Augustyn has a special interest in head and neck cancers, lymphoma, and SBRT/SRS. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and working on DIY projects at home, and is a Chicago sports fanatic. Dr. Augustyn is fluent in Polish.
