• At Timberlake Litter Control we understand how important your pets are in your life. We know that keeping them happy and healthy is important, but it doesn't have to cost a fortune. So our philosophy is simple: provide quality, compassionate, state of the art care to pets and their people at the most affordable prices possible. You can go to any other clinic in the area and most likely pay more for the same services, the choice is entirely yours. We provide more preventative medicine to your dog, cat or rabbit. From routine vaccinations, spay/neuter services, all types of blood work and dental cleaning. We do not provide any radiology services at this time. Let us share our passion for making pets and their people happy. Every pet deserves TLC! A 20 year veteran of the Air Force, Dr. Mary went back to school just prior to her retirement to fulfill her dream of becoming a veterinarian. She had previously graduated with a B.A. in English from Carroll College in Helena, Montana. After Veterinary Medical School, she began practice in mixed animal medicine, but became dedicated to small animal medicine when she moved to Post Falls in 2006. A year or so later she was introduced to shelter medicine and high volume spay/neuter. It was here that she discovered her passion for helping people by helping animals. This passion has overflowed into mission work. Dr. Mary has been involved in two trips to Ecuador with the teams of PAE Ambato, providing spay/neuter services for the people of Ambato and surrounding villages. In the coming years she will be expanding this mission work to other parts of the world. In the local community Dr. Mary works with several shelters and rescue groups as well as community/feral cat organizations. Dr. McKinney has received additional training after Vet School through the PetSmart Charities and The Humane Alliance in Pediatric Spay/Neuter and the principles of High Quality, High Volume Spay/Neuter.
