  • About Us Richard D. Zasada has been a practicing trial attorney for 20 years. During that time he has taken hundreds of cases to trial, from non-jury misdemeanor cases as an Assistant State Attorney, prosecuting juveniles committing serious and not so serious criminal cases, to many, many civil matters including complicated divorces, custody cases to discrimination cases in Federal Court. For the Last fifteen years, he has been concentrating on Family Law Matters, Social Security Disability cases and some other cases as they relate to his family law practice.

    Richard D. Zasada grew up in western New York outside of Buffalo. He is an avid Bills fan and spends as much time with his family back in New York at possible. He enjoys getting away with his son, traveling seeing the sights as much as time permits and hopes to do a lot more in the future. Plays golf, runs and tries to get to the gym as much as possible. Richard graduated from St. Mary’s High School in Lancaster, New York in 1979, got his undergraduate degree from the SUNY College At Buffalo in 1988 and attended Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing Michigan. Richard Graduated from law school in 1993 and has been a member of the Florida Bar since graduation.

    Richard spent 12 years in the United States Army both on active duty at Fort Bragg with the 82nd Airborne Division while assigned to the 1st/504th Parachute Infantry Regiment and later in the U.S. Army Reserve as an Army JAG for a short time. Upon graduation, he worked as an Assistant State Attorney for the 3rd Judicial Circuit in Lake City, Florida prosecuting felony, misdemeanors and juvenile offenders. After leaving the Office of the State Attorney he began working in criminal defense and civil matters representing people across the State of Florida.

    Today, Richard D. Zasada, LLC is located in Palm Coast, Flagler County, Florida, which is the Firm’s main office. He also has a second location in Jacksonville, Duval County, Florida. The Firm primarily represents clients in the Coastal Counties from Jacksonville, St. Johns, Flagler, Volusia and the surrounding areas. The areas of Practice are mostly limited to: All family issues, domestic violence cases and injunctions and social security disability cases. The firm also represents people in cases dealing with DUI arrests and Automobile Crashes with injuries.
