• About Us After graduating from the University at Buffalo School of Law, Mr. Riordan began his career in the Erie County District Attorney's Office. His hard work and dedication was quickly recognized, as after only three and a half years, he was promoted to Assistant Chief of the Sexual Assault Bureau, where he prosecuted attempted murderers, rapists, and child abusers. As the Assistant Chief, he personally prosecuted many high profile cases, such as the Riverside Rapist and the Trocaire College Rapist. In prosecuting these emotional and complex cases, he became an expert in DNA and other forensic evidence. After acting as the Assistant Chief of the Sexual Assault Bureau, Mr. Riordan was promoted to Chief of Operation Impact, where he oversaw the prosecution of all the gang-related crime in Erie County. After leaving the Erie County District Attorney's Office in 2007, Mr. Riordan has concentrated his practice on representing people who are seriously injured or have found themselves accused of a crime, using his experience as a former prosecutor and courtroom tested skills to help those who need it. Mr. Riordan's zealous representation and uncompromising ethics instills confidence and trust. His success in the courtroom is a reflection of his experience, expertise, and thorough preparation.
