My name is Tracy Smith Houston, and I am the founder of The Educated Babysitter. Let me tell you a few things about me. I am originally from San Francisco, Ca. I moved to Washington, D.C. in 1989 to attend Howard University. I graduated in 1995 with a BA in Elementary Education/Early Childhood. I pursued a career in teaching and have been doing so for over 22 years now. I have over 30 years of babysitting experience, and I also do Educational Consultant work. I completed two Masters of Education degrees with a concentration in Leadership of Educational Organizations and Curriculum and Instruction, in the Spring of 2008 from The American Intercontinental University. My daughter Katherine, who is also a sitter, is in college at Norfolk State University, majoring in Nursing. I reside at The National Harbor, MD, with my furry babies Chloe and Charlotte. I'm a proud member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., Greater Mount Calvary Holy Church, NOVA Pan Hellenic Council.
