  The Arbors of Del Rey the only home of its kind in southern New Mexico provides a compassionate and nurturing environment for elders with memory loss. Celebrating life, laughter and relationships with family and friends, elders enjoy an active lifestyle full of cooking, dancing and other entertainment. It is the only freestanding assisted living home in southern New Mexico dedicated solely to individuals with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia. Caregivers assist elders through the challenges of memory loss, communication, wandering, nutrition and interrupted sleep in a safe environment.
  
  With a superior caregiver-to-resident ratio, family members are assured peace of mind, knowing that their loved one is well protected and cared for. Expertly trained and experienced staff provides specialized care that allows elders to find the perfect balance of freedom and security, while maintaining their comfort and dignity. A full-time nurse is also available to provide care.
  
  Simple pleasures, include pet and music therapy, and are organized by the home's activities professional enriching our elders' everyday lives. Our lovely courtyard boasts a memory garden - the only one of its kind in the region. The memory garden and its variety of activities are all part of the Arbors' commitment to helping their elders rekindle their memories.
