About Us

  • Tamica White, M.D., FACS graduated with a bachelor of science in biomedical engineering from The Johns Hopkins University. Dr. White earned a medical degree from Rutgers-New Jersey Medical School and completed a general surgery residency at Georgetown University Hospital. Dr. White then went on to complete a fellowship in thoracic surgical oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City. Dr. White has been certified with the American Board of Surgery since 2006. Dr. White is a member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons and the Society of Surgical Oncology. Dr. White has over 10 years of experience providing a wide range of surgical services. She has advanced training in oncoplastic breast reconstruction, minimally invasive surgery and the surgical treatment of non-healing wounds. As a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, Dr. White’s other areas of expertise include the diagnosis and treatment of skin and soft tissue tumors, chest wall and abdominal wall disorders and diseases of the gallbladder, stomach, small bowel and colon. Dr. White is married and has one child. In her spare time, Dr. White enjoys family traveling and fitness activities.
