Susan Shaw is a classically-trained flutist and teacher of flute in the greater Cleveland area. She received her undergraduate training at the SUNY/University at Buffalo and the University of Vienna (Austria) and earned a Master of Music degree from Oberlin Conservatory. An active performer, Susan Shaw is co-founder and Artistic Director of Ensemble Belvedere—a Cleveland-based period group that performs 18th-century chamber music on original instruments. She is also a dedicated teacher and loves helping of students progress in musicality, technique, and self-confidence. Ms. Shaw maintains a private studio in Brunswick, Ohio and is currently accepting students of all ages, levels and abilities.
