    Physical Examinations
    This includes examining respiratory functions (listening to the heart and lungs), checking teeth, mouth, eyes, ears and taking temperature.

    Vaccinations
    Pets are often exposed to, and prone to contracting various diseases. Fortunately, most of these diseases can be prevented with appropriate vaccination. Recommended vaccinations include:

    - Canine D-H-P-P-B; Protects your pet from Distemper, Hepatitis, Parainfluenza, Parvo Virus, Bordetella
    - Feline F-V-R-C-P; Protects your pet from Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis, Calici Virus, Panleukopenia or Feline Distemper, Feline Leukemia

    Microchipping
    Purchasing a microchip can be one of the greatest preventative measures you can take as a pet owner. A small chip which contains identifying information is placed just under your pet's skin.

    Heartworm Testing & Medications
    Prevent this serious disease with regular testing and proper medications to ensure a healthy and happy life for your pet.

    Dental Examinations
    Regular examinations and care of your pet's mouth, teeth and gums are an incontrovertible way to help protect from serious health problems including heart, lung and kidney disease.

    Parasite Control
    Stay on top of routine deworming and other parasite control for the optimal health and happiness of your pet.

    Routine Bloodwork
    Routine laboratory bloodwork is recommended to help identify underlying health concerns.

    High-Tech Digital X-Rays
    Digital X-Rays are an invaluable tool in medicine, helping medical staff to diagnose internal complications or injuries earlier, and almost immediately. No more waiting around for development in a lab.

    Emergency Services
    Our doctors are available on-call for emergency veterinary services and treatment 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Please call and you will be directed to our on-call service.

    Surgery
    Stansbury Animal Hospital is equipped to handle both major and minor veterinary surgery. We recommend pre-anesthetic bloodwork for all pets. Pets should arrive for their surgeries between 8:30am-9:00am on their scheduled day. You will be required to complete and sign a medical release form. We also offer minimally invasive surgeries such as spay, gastropexy-stomach torsion prevention, otoscopy (ears), vaginoscopy (reproductive), retained testicles, biopsies, general exploratory and foreign body removal.

    Laboratory Services
    A full-scale lab is located at our facility. Most lab and blood work will be processed on site.
