• n 2002, Tom Nigro left the world of finance to start his own dry cleaning business. After an unsuccessful personal search for quality dry cleaning, Tom believed he could do it better. His foray into the world of dry cleaning began with a location in the first floor of a high-rise condominium overlooking the Charles River in downtown Boston. It was an instant success. Clients had only to leave their soiled clothes outside their doors and it was delivered back to them cleaned & pressed in a few days. The door to door valet service provided an unparalleled convenience for the customer and great personal satisfaction for Tom. In 2009, after experiencing tremendous growth in the Boston area, Tom decided to open another location closer to his native home in Albany, NY. After researching the area he settled in Saratoga Springs, NY. Spa Cleaners now known as Spa Garment Care was born. The name Spa Garment Care better reflected the services Tom provides, luxury spa treatment of your garments. These include, shoe repair, tailoring, wedding gown preservation and the cleaning & repair of rugs, draperies and other household items.
