Visit us at one of our 7 locations in central and western North Dakota with walk- in appointments available at each location. Our six physicians on staff are Dr. Sheri Ten Broek, Dr. Angela Ness, Dr. Jamie Kahl, Dr. Chad Kahl, and Dr. Rusty Kjos. Our physicians offer expertise not only in manual adjustments but also in acupuncture, ultrasound therapy and electric muscle stimulation therapy. In addition we now offer the Graston Technique therapy.

Graston technique is a patented form of non-surgical instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization that is used to break down scar tissue and restrictions in fascia (connective tissue present throughout the body, surrounding blood vessels, nerves, muscles, bones and organs). Positive outcomes have been reported in 75 - 90 % of all conditions treated. Examples of soft tissue injuries include strains, sprains, subluxations (partial dislocation of joints), carpal tunnel syndrome and repetitive stress injury. Treatment involves sliding a stainless steel instrument designed for a particular body part over the surface of the skin in a back and forth motion. Generally, advocates suggest several Graston Technique sessions for treatment of soft tissue injuries. Graston Technique treats a number of conditions including neck pain, temporomandibular joint (TMJ) pain, pain between the shoulder blades, lower back pain, hip pain, groin pain, hamstring pain and tightness, quadriceps pain and tightness, knee pain, ankle pain, plantar fasciitis (a painful condition affecting the foot and the foot arch), rotator cuff pain (a type of shoulder pain), tennis elbow, golfer's elbow, wrist pain, finger and toe pain, numbness or tingling at the extremities, carpal tunnel syndrom and headaches.

Our Ultrasound treatment is a form of deep heat therapy created by sound waves. When applied to soft tissues and joints, the sound waves are a form of micro-massage that help reduce swelling, increase blood flow and decrease pain, stiffness and spasms.

Our Electric Muscle Stimulation (EMS) therapy uses light electrical pulses that are transmitted to specific areas of the body through electrodes placed on the skin and beneficial for pain relief or to reduce inflammation, some for muscle spasm and some actually cause muscles to contract in order to reduce muscle atrophy and some with combination effects.

Our office headquartered in Bismarck has a large inventory on hand including vitamin and nutritional supplements as well as orthotic supports (including custom ordered foot orthotics) and therapeutic items such as pillows, massagers and back supports.
