In 2005, I created Snappy Salads for me: a guy. A guy that never had enough time to do all the things I needed to get done in a typical day. When I worked in corporate America, it always seemed that my morning meetings would run long and the afternoon hours were booked, so an unhealthy lunch was often scarfed down in front of my computer because there were no other options. When I did get a chance to eat what I really wanted, it was a salad. But what I didn't like was having my manhood called into question because I was sitting all by myself in a restaurant that was designed for women. I was frustrated, hungry, and overweight. So I decided to open a place that would fit my life, my style, my needs. And so Snappy Salads was born. Snappy Salads is an outpouring of my personal and business philosophies. We have always served high-quality food while being very mindful of our impact on the environment. My team is my family, and my guests are my friends. We actively support the community that supports us, we have won numerous awards, but we realize that we still have a long way to go before our mission is accomplished.
