• The three words that describe the eye-care provided by David J Smith, MD. and Eric S Dunn, MD., board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. Whether for a routine eye exam for glasses or a highly complex surgical or medical issue, we strive to provide the highest level of care. We are Eye MD?s, having attended 4 years of medical school as well as a year of training in internal medicine prior to a rigorous 3 years of training in an ophthalmology residency. We have training not only in disease and surgery of the eye but also in systemic diseases such as diabetes mellitus, multiple sclerosis, neurology, cardiovascular disease and connective tissue disorders. This training allows us to better diagnose your problems and also allows us to provide the appropriate direction for your overall medical care. We have been trained at Wills Eye Hospital, one of the finest eye institutions in the world and have over a 30-year track record.
