About Us

  • Showalter Construction is a thriving, growing business with 33 years experience in the Excavation and Land Leveling industry. Showalter Construction is actively involved in site design, irrigation projects, roads and reclamation.

Showalter Land Leveling began operations in 1978 with the purchase of two 1963 Wabco scrapers. Brion had been employed in the business of land leveling and when the owner decided to sell, Brion jumped at the opportunity. For the next ten years the business was predominantly engaged in leveling for irrigation systems, servicing the agricultural community. The addition of dozers, loaders, trucks and upgraded laser systems on all machines saw the business into its 20th year. With the popularity of pivot irrigation systems, the need for gravity irrigation projects began to dwindle.

At this time Idaho saw an increase of the number of dairy operations in the state, and it was an opportunity for the business to expand.
