About Us

• With over 25 years of experience we can handle most any automotive repair. Some of our services include oil changes, brakes, starters, alternators, fuel pumps, tune-ups, batteries, heating and cooling systems, exhaust, collision repair, paint, full restorations, detailing, car audio installation, and part locator. I started Shank 2nd Gen Auto after my late Uncle William (Billy) Shank. He had over 30 years of knowledge and experience in the automotive industry, mainly as a mechanic. Growing up he taught my brother and I how to work on vehicles. Every weekend we would go out to his house and play with our own vehicles and/or other family members or friends vehicles. He taught me how to change oil, brakes, do a tune-up, and multiple other mechanical issues. He did not like body work, so he taught me how to do that. I enjoyed the body work side of the automotive industry, so I got a job at a body shop while I was living in Virginia Beach.
