Dr. Marcum has a lifetime of experience working with animals and years of experience working with wildlife rescue organizations, both as a scientist and educator. After completing her Master's degree in Biology and teaching at Emporia State University, Dr. Marcum went on to veterinary school at Kansas State University. Not long after completing her degree in Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Marcum moved back to her native state of Texas and has been in practice here since 2005. Dr. Marcum served as Medical Director for a large group of animal hospitals in our area and has been an educator of new veterinarians all over the Houston area.
