Local & Fresh to You
All of our bread is fresh-baked and delivered daily from Sam's Italian Market of Willow Grove and Le Bus of Manayunk. Our imported meats, cheeses, and homemade fresh mozzarella cheese are from Claudio's of South Philly. Robert A. Rosato, owner-proprietor and executive chef, opened Scoogi's Classic Italian in 1990 at age 24. Robert is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, Hyde Park, NY and mentored with Chef Tell in the Cayman Islands and the Stratford Inn in Wayne, PA. He also studied under family chefs in the hills of Abruzzo, Italy at Al Paradiso.
