About Us

• Rick Smith is a Kansas-licensed probate attorney helping clients with Estates, Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney, Guardianships, Conservatorships, and Adoptions. Rick completed his Juris Doctor degree at Washburn University School of Law School, and has practiced primarily in the areas of probate and estate planning in Topeka, first with the law firm of Mack & Associates LLC, and then in his own practice. Rick has served clients all across Kansas in many counties, but primarily in Topeka and Shawnee County. His office is in the Shadow Wood Office Park on 29th Street, in the same building as Jared Muir Law and Wheatland HOA Property Management, Inc. Rick is an artist, communicator, and teacher by training. He enjoys detailed, creative work, and has a love for people, cultures, and religions of the world. Rick and his wife are both portrait artists, musicians, and parents of five children.
