About Us

  • Welcome to Restoration Physical Therapy! Hello and thank you for visiting! I would like to introduce you to the power of physical medicine. In our technical, and chemically driven medical culture much of the art of clinical reasoning, and physical assessment and treatment has been lost. I can't tell you how many times people come into my office and tell me that they were never touched by the practitioners that evaluated them. R.P.T.staff The vast majority of musculoskeletal pain and injury cannot be effectively addressed with drugs, and technology. Muskuloskeletal injury is mechanical in nature meaning that physical forces act on joints and muscles causing them to become compromised. Therefore you must put your hands on the patient and apply skilled structural assessment and treatment to truly resolve the structural problems such as joint restriction, and abnormal muscle tone. We are a privately owned physical therapy clinic located in the heart of Grapevine Texas. We provide effective personal care with an emphasis on manual therapy, and progressive exercise prescription. We offer structural rehabilitation, medically supervised fitness programs, and athletic performance training programs. Our staff strives to create a fun, personal environment where you can receive outstanding care and undivided attention while addressing your therapy needs. Manual Therapy: Manual therapy is the skilled application of hands and techniques used to evaluate and treat the neuromuscular system. Our method includes the integration of manual therapy approaches such as muscle energy, positional release, myofascial release, craniosacral therapy, and manipulation/mobilization. In addition to this, we use the more traditional physical therapy approaches, such as the use of passive modalities including ultrasound, interferential stimulation, iontophoresis, and phonophoresis. Exercise Therapy: Emphasis is placed on body awareness in reactivation of inactive musculature. Patients are taught to use manual biofeedback to reactivate the deep core musculature. Patients are also instructed in the more traditionally used exercises as well as stretching and range of motion. All exercise is recorded on D.V.D. at the time of instruction, and the patient is given this D.V.D. free of charge for future reference as needed. Performance Training: Our newest program addition is Athletic Performance Enhancement. This program combines speed and agility training, with balanced coordination training, static and dynamic strengthening. We combine the latest technology with the latest research to get superior results. Athletes are shaving tenths of seconds off their sprint times, and making incredible gains in traditional lifts such as bench press, squat, and dead lift.
