I am a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner whose focus is on preoperative evaluations. I enjoy the process of helping patients and their families prepare for surgery. I collaborate with primary care providers, surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other members of the patient’s health care team. We optimize the patient’s health status to minimize complications during or after surgery. The most rewarding thing about my work is making a positive impact on a patient’s health care experience. Patients have told me I listen and communicate well and have a caring demeanor. I want patients to know they are cared for.
