• Port Realty, one of the most innovative Brunswick County NC Real Estate agencies, was incorporated in 1988 by Charles Blake, Builder & Broker. As the primary Marketing Agent for BHB Builders LLC, Port Realty specializes in new home construction of the highest quality and lowest cost, throughout Brunswick county. Charles and his brother Tom Blake, President of BHB Builders LLC, are both builders and have been licensed Real Estate Brokers since the early Nineteen-Sixties. Both men grew up in the construction trades and together have built thousands of local area homes, including many in Southport, Oak Island, Boiling Spring Lakes, Supply, and elsewhere. Charles Blake received his Brokers license in 1964 and is Past-President of the Brunswick County Association of REALTORS as well as Past-President of the Wilmington / Cape Fear Home Builders Association, and has built homes throughout Brunswick, New Hanover, Pender and Columbus Counties. He also chartered the Coastal Services Corporation, a real estate and building company, which operated from 1965 to 1988. Tom Blake obtained his Brokers license in 1961, and built his first home in 1965. Among the most experienced of Brunswick County’s home builders, Tom Blake has a well established reputation for integrity, industry, and hands-on attention to detail.
