Rosemary L. March 29, 2018 Guitar Lessons I am taking this opportunity to recommend, as highly as I can, the skills and abilities of the talented Mr. Gene Dickersheid of Palm Coast. If you are someone like me who has always wanted to learn to play guitar, Gene is the person to contact. A year and a half ago, I contacted Gene as I was looking for a guitar teacher. I have been very impressed with his knowledge of music, his warm personality and support for me who knew nothing about the instrument. It is very obvious that music is a total life passion of his and his enthusiasm for beginners ( I'm sure he is the same way with more advanced players) is very encouraging. I believe that he has at least 35 years in the music world as a teacher and performer. Beyond the basics of learning the instrument, Gene is keenly interested in supporting the creative process if a student wishes to write his/her own lyrics and add music. He has written a great booklet on the process of writing a song and I have to say that it is very comprehensive and helpful! He is all about believing in yourself and letting those creative juices flow! So, if you have friends or family, or YOU, who want to learn guitar, I highly recommend Gene Dickersheid as an outstanding teacher. Truly, his positive attitude and great personality combined with his excellent musical knowledge and skills, make him a terrific individual to teach you.
