About Us

• Helen Stringer is the owner of Organized by Helen, an entity devoted to creating space and time for what people value most in life. She has spent many years as a professional organizer and life coach and feels strongly about providing solid solutions and offering real direction. Helen’s work as an organizer has been featured on KCTV5, KMBC Channel 9, NBC Action News 41, KCMO Talk Radio's Dollars & Homes Show, and by the Lawrence World-Journal. In 2008, she received a Master’s degree in Human Services with a graduate certificate in Professional Counseling. Before becoming a full time organizer and life coach, Helen served as a center director and counselor for a non-profit that helps young families in crisis, and ran a thriving tree care company with her husband. She has two sons, one whom she and her husband foster/adopted from the foster care system in 2011. In her spare time, she enjoys reading non-fiction, advocating for at-risk kids through the Court Appointed Special Advocates group, training future foster parents, dancing, teaching group fitness and enjoying the occasional sweet guilty pleasure.
