Mount Saint Vincent Foster Care Program Our comprehensive program provides training, certification and individualized support to foster families while providing 24-hour care to children (newborn to 18 years) who cannot remain in their homes. We serve children whose length of stay in foster care ranges from short-term emergency care to permanent, long-term care. Foster families provide children a stable, safe and nurturing environment until they can reunify with their biological families or other permanent home. Our experienced and resourceful team helps in the success of foster families through a continuum of supportive services: 24/7 family support, monthly support groups, training, respite care, case management, home visits and resources.
