  • I have seen the mental and emotional toll anxiety can take on one’s life. However, I believe we, as humans, are incredibly resilient – and anxiety is treatable! Anxiety is not a “one-size fits all” illness. Together, we will develop an individualized treatment plan approach that suits you. In my practice, I utilize a mindfulness integrated cognitive behavioral therapy approach (CBT) to beat anxiety. Research has proven both mindfulness and CBT to be effective in treating anxiety and panic disorders. As a therapist, I don’t believe in just “talk therapy.” To see true improvements in quality of life, we need to use skill-focused treatments (such as mindfulness and CBT). CBT is short-term focused, allowing you to enjoy your life again, usually in a matter of months, rather than years. My therapeutic approach is both compassionate and goal oriented. Sometimes we even add a little humor. Together, we will work to provide you with life-long tools that you will learn to cultivate in your daily life.
