Mian Rizwan, MD, is a board certified rheumatologist who provides care to adults ages 18 and up. Dr. Rizwan attended medical school at Hamdard University in Karachi, Pakistan. He completed his internal medicine residency at Prince George’s Hospital in Cheverly, Maryland, and completed his fellowship in rheumatology from Saint Louis University School of Medicine. Before joining SSM Health Medical Group, Dr. Rizwan practiced rheumatology in Hannibal. He is also an academic hospitalist physician at SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital, where he was nominated as Physician of the Month on more than one occasion. Dr. Rizwan's clinical interest include rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, chronic pain and systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). He is fluent in English, Hindi and Urdu.
