• Hello there. 🙋🏻👋🏻I'm Rebecca. I've been a Cosmetologist for over 7 years . I have a booth located in NuYu Salon in Kronenwetter currently, but will be opening a salon in Wausau in March of 2018 and offer all your hair and makeup services. As as a child, I've always been the girl who liked to draw and doodle on any surface and had a very creative and crafty imagination. I had an extensive collection of colored pencils and art painting supplies along a collection of art drawing pads and a camera to boot, and still do. Attention to detail is everything in my art world. Whether it be shading on a creation on paper or the depth of a shadow below a beautiful blonde painted piece of hair, I love to see the dimension of colors integrating and creating life. Art and Creativity have been an integral part of my being since what feels like birth. Both sides of my family are extremely gifted and talented in the art field and honestly that just made me feel like I was born to create beautiful works of art... and not just on paper. I believe makeup and hair can be an expression of your inner self and I feel like I was put on this earth to help others feel beautiful... outside and inside. I decided to go to State College of Beauty Culture in 2011 after working a few years out of high school at a local gas station. Those years set my head straight and gave me the yearning to do something with my life. I started my cosmetology career shortly after graduating in April 2012. It was the perfect outlet for me to express my creativity with rich colors and technical hair designs. My love for color and extensive techniques has grown in the past few years since school. It is very crucial and important to me to keep up with today's trends and techniques so that I can be able to provide my clients with the best possible color and style along with the current maintenance their unique hair requires. I'm constantly educating myself and strive for perfection with everything I do so if you have questions, ask. I'll try my best to answer them, or find what we need to know. I'm an open book and my clients happiness is what matters most. Let me know your honest thoughts! Since graduating beauty school, I've been to countless continuing education classes and seminars. Among those classes were: Men's Haircutting Trends with Behind The Chair Award Winning Barber and Schwarzkopf Ambassador Matty Conrad, Schwarzkopf Color Techniques and product knowledge, Ulta Season Trend Technique, Matrix Color, women's Haircutting, CND & OPI Nails, Keratherapy Smoothing Treatment Certification, Perfectress Extensions, and Redken Product Knowledge among others. The listgrows as I continue in this profession. Education Is KEY!🗝 My favorite and most popular technique and look is called balayage. I like to explain it like as if you would see a young girl with naturally shiny, healthy hair out in the sun; you will find she had natural light face framing hilights and beautiful multi-dimensional colors throughout her hair. My goal is to create the look you'd like. Now does that mean I'm going to give you silver hair with dark root melt when you have black box color and over processed hair? Heck, no! I'll be honest with you! Your hair integrity is of most importance! Most balayage are a work in progress and take a few appointments usually. It becomes a very lived in color after every visit, and it is easily maintained and looks beautiful on every client. The plus side? I get to freehand paint every selected piece. I love it. That's where is difference comes in. This is an art form that I SO enjoy!😍 Another popular service I offer to the Wausau area is undercuts and hair designs. I'm talking about people that have shaved sides or undercuts that take the step out there to get a design on their head. It's unique and so much fun to do. And I'm confident won't find the precision and technical abilities anywhere else in the area. I am very comfortable with most all requested designs and take pride in the outcome of every design.
