About Us

  • Memorial Park Cemetery was founded over 65 years ago to serve the ever-increasing burial needs of St. Petersburg residents. The cemetery encompasses 104 acres, features two mausoleums and offers cremation gardens, cremation niches, a columbarium, and numerous garden sections. Our “The Life of Christ Chapel” showcases 12 priceless mosaics depicting the Life of Christ. Local artist Earl Gresh created the mosaics. Each took one year to complete and is comprised of woods from around the world. When Mr. Gresh passed away he was entombed in one of the chapel crypts where he can forever enjoy the beautiful art he created. The Veterans Garden in the cemetery features a special Veterans memorial known as “Five Star.” Five honor flags, one from each branch of service, pay perpetual tribute to our fallen heroes. Our funeral home includes a nondenominational chapel to accommodate 100 visitors, private family rooms, a coffee room and administrative offices.
