• Maurizio Albala, MD takes an integrative approach to Pain Care at his two offices in De Pere and Appleton, Wisconsin. He has over 40 years of practice in the medical field with extensive pain management and spine conditions experience and has worked at general Hospitals, private Offices, not-for-profits Facilities, Philadelphia VA hospital. Dr. Albala graduated from the University of Milan/Faculty of Medicine and Surgery Medical School in 1978. He completed residencies in Intensive Care and in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and a fellowship in Orthopedic Medicine throughout Europe before relocating to the United States. After residency in Anesthesia and internship in Cardiac Surgery at the Harvard University’s Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, he rounded out his medical training with a fellowship in cardiac anesthesia at Harvard University’s Massachusetts General Hospital. He then focused on Pain management and completed a fellowship at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital at Tufts University in Boston. Dr. Albala is Board Certificate by the American Board of Anesthesiologists in both Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine. He stays up-to-date with the latest advancements in his field and is a member of many professional and scientific societies, including the American Society of Regional Anesthesia, American Interventional Headache Society, American Neuromodutation Society, World Institute of Pain, American Society of Ketamine Physicians, and Massachusetts Medical Society.
