About Us

  • Robert Marks, M.D., currently president of the West Virginia Chapter of the American Academy of Family Physicians, has been recognized as one of America’s Top Family Doctors. Marks graduated in 1991 from West Virginia Wesleyan College with bachelor’s degrees in biology and chemistry. In 1995, he graduated in 1995 from Marshall University School of Medicine. He completed his residency at Wheeling Hospital in 1998 after serving as chief resident. His interests include hypertension and addictive medicine. Dr. Marks serves as campus physician at Bethany College. He is a member of the Jacob Schwinn Study Club. He earned the prestigious Physician's Recommendation Award with Commendation by the American Medical Association in 2007, and was recognized by the Consumer's Research Council of America as one of America's Top Family Doctors of 2007. Dr. Marks, former director of Wheeling Hospital’s Family Medicine Residency Program, is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.
