Dr. Maria Cristina Soriano has been with CHI St. Joseph Health Pediatrics since the practice opened in 2007. Her interest in children's medicine began at a young age; Dr. Soriano is the youngest of six children and watched lots of nieces and nephews grow up. Born and raised in the Philippines, Dr. Soriano was a Pediatric Infectious Disease Specialist in the Philippines. She and her husband, family physician Dr. Anthony Soriano, emigrated to the U.S. in 2003 and completed another three-year residency stateside. Dr. Anthony Soriano's residency with the Texas A&M Family Medicine Program led the couple to Aggieland. Dr. Maria Cristina Soriano enjoys reading, knitting, yoga, boxing, and she and her son also practice martial arts together, when she isn't practicing medicine.
