America was built on a promise that all men are created equal. Unfortunately, a good quality of life has been put out of reach for many Americans due to the unequal distribution of wealth and opportunity amongst various groups in our society. Lights Back On Incorporated is a local 501(c)3 community action nonprofit organization that provides energy assistance, bill payment assistance, and other resources to low-income Dekalb, Gwinnett, Fulton, and Cobb county residents within the state of Georgia, funded by membership dues, fundraisers, private sector for-profit companies, philanthropic foundations, grants from local, state, and federal agencies, and private donations. Our organization embodies a passion and compassion for people. We promote hope with a focus on building better communities and changing people's lives for the better. We are taking steps to end poverty one family at a time. Lights back On, Inc.'s vision is to help impoverished people throughout the world help keep the lights on.
