About Us

  • About Us RICHARD L. GROUP, Esquire has practiced in the area of Social Security Disability for over 30 years (having represented clients in hundreds of Administrative Law Judge Hearings as well as appeals to the “Appeals Council” and the Federal Courts); his experience with New Jersey Workers’ Compensation and civil litigation spans the last 26 years. He has been a member of the Pennsylvania Bar since 1985 and New Jersey Bar since 1986. He is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey and the Third Circuit Court of Appeals. His legal practice focuses on Social Security Disability Claims (both “Disability Insurance Benefits” and “Supplemental Security Income” claims), New Jersey Workers’ Compensation, civil litigation (including personal injury claims in the State of New Jersey) and the general practice of law. Mr. Group can represent a client in a Social Security case in any state and handles Workers' Compensation cases throughout the state of New Jersey. There is no fee unless you are awarded benefits in which case attorney fees are paid from past-due benefits that are owed to the client (in a Social Security Case) and from the client's "permanency award" (in a Workers' Compensation case). . You will speak to Mr. Group directly; not to a secretary, “paralegal” or other staff person that you will typically speak with when you call most of the other firms who practice in these areas. Other firms that employ expensive advertising campaigns depend on a high volume of cases to pay their large advertising bills and overhead expenses. Mr. Group takes a personal interest in all his clients and is “hands on” with every case he takes on.
