    CHAPTER 7 BANKRUPTCY
A chapter 7 bankruptcy is also known as a debt liquidation because It wipes out most unsecured debt including credit card debt. In a Chapter 7 bankruptcy, an appointed trustee can collect the assets of a debtor in order to reduce them to cash to pay creditors. However, many Chapter 7 debtors usually qualify for exemptions that alleviate the need to turn over actual assets; these are “no-asset cases.” A debtor with assets that they wish to keep and not covered by the chapter 7 exemptions usually file Chapter 13 bankruptcy.

    CHAPTER 13 BANKRUPTCY
A chapter 13 bankruptcy is also known as a debt repayment plan. Unlike the chapter 7 bankruptcy which is used to wipe out debt, the chapter 13 bankruptcy debtor makes payments to a bankruptcy trustee over a period of three to five years in order to catch up or “cure” delinquent payments to secured creditors. After the plan is successfully completed, all unsecured debts are discharged.

A chapter 13 bankruptcy debtor is required to have a regular source of income in order to make the monthly payments to the trustee.

    FORECLOSURE DEFENSE
Facing Foreclosure? There was a time when there were virtually no defenses for homeowners facing foreclosure. Today, however, with the help of a good foreclosure defense attorney, more homeowners are successfully challenging foreclosure due to rampant evidence of bank fraud and predatory lending practices. A good foreclosure defense attorney can litigate to possibly delay the foreclosure process and sale for up to 2 years and sometimes even longer.

    CIVIL LITIGATION LAW
Civil litigation encompasses a broad range of disputes involving monetary damages in non-criminal disputes involving the breach of contract, personal injury, real estate, employment or property damage. If you have a non-criminal dispute and need to protect your rights, you should avoid the mistake of going it alone.
