• Richard Poirier has more than 30 years experience in the heating business and is a graduate of the New England Fuel Institute. He has also been a certified LP technician since 1987. Rich began his career in the home heating industry driving oil trucks in Maine in the early 80s. After driving for several years, he managed a cash oil operation in Portsmouth, NH and for many years, he was a service technician for oil and propane gas companies throughout New England. Joe Poirier Richards son Joe Poirier joined the U.S. Air Force out of high school and served his country for 8 years as an aircraft crew chief during Operation Enduring Freedom and the war in Iraq. Joe was honorably discharged in 2006 and came home to go into business with his father. He does boiler service and installations and also drives the oil trucks.
