• Joyland Nursery school and Kindergarten believes "The interest of childhood and youth is the interest of mankind." At our preschool we offer a team of certified preschool teachers committed to your child?s early development academically, physically and artistically. Our teachers maintain a scheduled curriculum that encourages children to thrive and learn while having fun in the process and 'still being kids'. We have over 45 years of experience tending to the needs of preschool and Kindergarten age children. Joyland Nursery school & Kindergarten uses a variety of preschool appropriate activities throughout the day to focus on specific aspects of learning. Academic learning covers the basic subjects such as Phonics, Alphabet, Social Science, and Math, but in addition, we focus on development of motor skills, social skills, and self-concept. Our preschool children are encouraged to participate in creative play which includes drama, music and story time. We also offer activities, games, outdoor play to encourage physical fitness. There is a full time cook onsite to provide healthy meals and snacks for sustained energy throughout the day. Plus, we want to introduce your child to lifelong good eating habits. We realize entrusting your preschool child with child-care providers is a big decision. You can trust that your child?s growth and happiness during preschool is important to us, and that we will encourage a lifelong love of learning, starting with our Kindergarten.
