• This world we live in is filled with beauty in all forms be it in nature or through people. This website is a place I can express my own personal vision which captures moments of emotion, beauty and the diversity of the world around us. Other photographers have inspired me to explore the world. I hope my photographs here on this website will provide that same inspiration also for others. Jose Almeida Photography offers photographic coverage for weddings, engagement sessions, various events as well as freelance work. Weddings are wonderful events in which I am humbled and honored to photograph for my clients. They are celebrations with whirlwinds of emotions throughout the day. To my clients and to a perspective client I understand that family is the most important thing in the world. As for myself I can say when it comes to photographing weddings I am drawn to those unguarded candid moments. In my work I attempt to portray an artistic feel that reveals feelings of emotion onto the viewer. Whether it’s a gaze, a beaming smile, tears of joy or maybe an intentional blurred image to depict movement my goal is communication. It is these moments along with many others I feel should be captured. I am easy going, patient and possess the necessary social skills to engage people and put them at ease. Each client's needs are unique and important to them so I try to be as flexible as possible. I work with clients on any special requests they may have, adapt to any services they may want, provide flexible coverage hours and I work within their budgets. When working with clients on a wedding day, an engagement shoot or a portrait session I attempt to put them at ease. I don’t try to direct them in a situation where they are not comfortable. I want them to be relaxed and to be themselves as in my experience this creates the most amazing photos all while having fun at them same time.
