    John Tiffee, DDS

Dr. Tiffee originally lived in San Antonio when he first moved to Texas. Work took him away for a while, but he eventually found his way back to the Lone Star State.

He graduated from the University of Missouri, Kansas City, School of Dentistry in 1991. After his first residency, he worked as a research fellow at the Health Science Center in San Antonio. He then spent many years teaching, first at the University of Pittsburgh, and then at the University of North Carolina. While teaching was very rewarding, Dr. Tiffee decided that returning to general practice and working with patients full time would be even more so. So he completed a 2-year General Practice Residency, also at the University of North Carolina.

This opened many doors for him, and being a little antsy, as his grandmother used to put it, he tried every one of those doors. First to Alaska in the Indian Health Service, then a few months in Mexico, back to North Carolina, and finally settling down back here in Texas. Dr. Tiffee chose Uvalde because it is such a great place to live- wonderful people, and close to almost everything. But still far enough away from it all so you can get some peace and quiet. He loves dentistry and is always looking for ways to help his patients look and feel better.
