About Us

  • Jacqueline Wyka, PsyD, ACT, is a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in adult cognitive behavioral therapy for depression, anxiety, adjustment difficulties, and stress management.

    Before joining Summit Health, Dr. Wyka treated college and graduate students at the Seton Hall Counseling and Psychological Services Center in South Orange, New Jersey. Prior to this position, she completed her pre-doctoral internship and post-doctoral fellowship at the Long Island Jewish Medical Center in Glen Oaks, New York. In addition, she has received training at New York Presbyterian Hospital in White Plains, New York, St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital in New York City, and at the Seton Hall Counseling and Psychological Services Center.

    Dr. Wyka says, "I believe it is important to create a warm, welcoming, and safe environment in which my patients can discuss their concerns. I enjoy collaborating with them on how best to reach their goals." She adds, "It's gratifying when I've helped empower my patients to help themselves and make positive changes in their lives."

    Dr. Wyka is a recipient of the Dr. Irma R. Hilton Clinical Psychology Prize for her research in women's issues. She placed second in the New York State Psychological Association Division of Women's Issues Outstanding Dissertation Award.

    When she is not working with her patients, Dr. Wyka enjoys spending time with her family and friends, listening to music, and exploring new local and far-away places.
