About Us

• The Heavy Construction Academy’s Brentwood Campus is the only training facility of its’ kind in the Northeast, as well as the largest in the country. We train and certify men and women to operate state of the art heavy machinery. We combine hands on training with class room instruction, to provide each student with the skills they need to succeed. Upon graduation our career services program will assist you in transitioning into the industry.
  
  Our comprehensive program trains students to safely operate and maintain numerous pieces of heavy equipment, as well as blue print reading, project planning, and leadership.
  Our graduates find jobs on civil works projects, urban infrastructure projects, site development, waste management, and road building.
  
  With increasing economic pressures and the need to comply with the mandates of O.S.H.A. the E.P.A. and state and local governments, this is the only viable career path for the operating engineers of today.
